LightSheer Duet Laser Hair Removal – Warsaw Mokotów

At Depiclinic we work exclusively on four of our own original LightSheer Duet diode lasers manufactured by Lumenis (USA). Operating at a wavelength of 805 nm, the laser achieves long-term hair reduction after a series of 6–8 sessions (results vary, and the treatment plan is always tailored to your skin and hair). With two distinct handpieces on each system, we match the technology to both small, delicate facial areas and larger body zones.

Comfort during the session comes from two technological solutions that reduce discomfort: vacuum-assist and contact cooling. On larger areas (such as legs, back, or chest) we use the High Speed handpiece with gentle vacuum suction, which draws the skin closer to the laser source and makes the session faster and gentler. On smaller or sensitive areas (face, bikini, underarms) we use the precision handpiece with a sapphire ChillTip™ that continuously cools the epidermis.

In accordance with the manufacturer’s clinical protocol, LightSheer Duet treatments are performed on clean, dry, freshly shaved skin. Because no hair shaft remains above the surface to absorb energy prematurely, the light beam travels directly down the pigment in the hair bulb inside the follicle.

For laser hair removal to disable a follicle, the laser beam must catch the hair in its active growth phase — known as anagen. Only during anagen is the hair bulb firmly connected to the matrix and blood supply, allowing thermal energy to stop future regrowth.

Human hairs do not grow all at once. At any given moment, hairs on your body are in three different stages: active growth (anagen), transition (catagen), and resting (telogen). Because the laser only affects hairs currently in anagen, a single visit cannot remove all hair in a given area.

Long-term hair reduction typically requires a series of 6–8 sessions (results vary). The pace of reduction depends on your genetics, hormone balance, and even certain vitamins or supplements (such as hair-growth supplements).
