Long-term hair reduction

After a full series of sessions, the vast majority of unwanted hair is gone. Any hairs that may grow back after many years are very fine, light and barely visible.

Laser hair removal is an excellent and widely recommended solution for inflamed hair follicles (folliculitis). Your skin becomes even, smooth and free of painful bumps.

Forget the dark dots that show on the skin right after shaving. The laser damages the hair bulb, leaving pores clean and barely visible.

About 2–3 weeks after your first visit, the treated hairs start to fall out on their own. Keep in mind that the laser only works on hairs in the active growth phase (anagen). That is why long-term hair reduction requires a planned series of sessions (results vary, usually 6–8 sessions).

The laser disables the follicles it reaches during the series. Your body, however, is a living ecosystem – over the years, natural processes, hormonal changes or medications and supplements (e.g. ones that stimulate hair growth) can wake up dormant reserve follicles. If after a longer time you notice a few new hairs, a short top-up session (e.g. once a year) is enough to keep your skin smooth.

Thick, dark male hair absorbs the laser beam very well, which gives great and fast results. In the male body, however, high testosterone levels play a key role – this hormone constantly stimulates the skin and over time can activate dormant follicles, so single new hairs may appear (e.g. on the back or chest). That is why, to stay comfortable, men have periodic top-up sessions after completing the series.
